For many of us, it was a question of when and not if.
For now it seems that the air force is heading the campaign to contain the growing threats emanating from Syria’s disintegration.
This is one problem which is going to be tough to deal with.
We are not even sure about the extent of the threats there.
I think the presentation below in Hebrew with English subtitles by Israel air force commander Amir Eshel gives us a short and sharp view of what we are facing.
I have two questions:
1. do we have an exit strategy?
2. are we doing anything to ensure that Israel is not shouldering the burden on Syria alone. Eg. are we planning to improve relations with Turkey?
