Happy Nowruz + how to tell the difference between Persians and Arabs

There are numerous methods which you can use to tell the difference between an Arab and a Persian

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy Nowruz.

May this year bring all mankind peace, health and prosperity.

I have lots of good memories from Nowruz in Iran.

One of them was school being closed for 2 weeks. Oh God, that was amazing. Imagine having all the Jewish holidays off school + Nowruz + all Muslim holidays. French union workers looked like a bunch of overworked workaholics next to us.

The other was sharing jokes with friends and cousins.

I would like to continue with this tradition by sharing one of my favorite comedy sketches of all time with you.

Happy Nowruz everyone.

Oh and before I forget, much like the Jews in exile always say “next year in Jerusalem” during their Passover meal, we say “next year in Iran”. Can I have a hearty Amen for that?
