“Why nuclear diplomacy with Iran is needed and why chances of success are small”
I know. It doesn’t exactly sound optimistic. But as I heard General Giora Eiland mention to the press prior to the Gaza withdrawal of 2005, in the Middle East, a pessimist is a “realistic optimist”.
I am hoping that I will be proven wrong and that Iran and the US reach an accord, but for now, the chances seem small.
Why?
I will be discussing the reasons tomorrow night at Penn State University, which is the final stop of my current US lecture tour.
