Hope for Iran’s female musicians

7 Nov

In Iran women can not sing on Television. Many women can only sing in female only audiences. The restrictions have created much frustration. More importantly the restrictions have also meant that many women who have incredible musical talent can not share it with others, or to develop it.

This interesting report by the Financial Times looks into this matter, and discusses the hopes and aspirations of Iran’s female singers.
