I can’t find the words to describe my sense of revulsion at those in the West Bank and Gaza who took to the streets and to Facebook to celebrate the killing of 4 innocent Israelis at a

synagogue this morning.
How sick and depraved do you have to be?
Of course this group is a minority. In my opinion they don’t represent all Palestinians. As all polls show, majority of Palestinians wants peace. The same for majority of Israelis.
With that in mind I remember all the racists who enthusiastically declared that all Israelis are Arab hating racists after pictures of a small group of Israelis watching and cheering the fighting in Gaza were published during the recent Gaza war.
And the Iranian government’s response? here is what the so-called moderate U.S educated foreign minister of Iran said today:
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has denounced the Israeli regime’s illegal and provocative measures against the Palestinian people in al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the al-Aqsa Mosque compound
And some in Washington and Tehran want to convince us that the Iranian regime’s animosity towards Israel is based only on geo-strategic differences, and not on ideological hate towards the state of Israel!
“Do you still believe in peace?”, I hear you ask. Yes, with all my heart. Just as much as I did yesterday.
I want peace because I believe that most Palestinians want what I want, their own country, freedom, and dignity. I also want peace because it would be poison for the enemies of Israel.
Just as the late Yitzhak Rabin said: “we have to fight terrorism as if there is no peace, and pursue peace as if there is no terrorism”.
