So what does an #Israel election debate in English look like?

One of the things I enjoy the most about elections in Israel are the debates.

The politicians really tear into policies and their opponents.

During the last elections I went into one of the debates and started tweeting them in Farsi. I found them so entertaining that I had to share them with my twitter followers from Iran.

The problem is that most of the debates are in Hebrew.

Well, that was not the case three nights ago when the TLV International Salon organization together with the Times of Israel hosted a debate between candidates from all major parties – in English. The debate was broadcast live on the internet, thanks to Chaistream.

The panellists were: Tamar Zandberg from the left wing Meretz party,  Hilik Bar from the left of Center Labor party, Yaakov Peri from the centrist Yesh Atid party, Michael Oren from the right of center Kulanu party, Tzachi Hanegbi from the right wing Likud party and Ayelet Shaked from the ultra right wing Bayit Yehudi party.

All elections topics including Iran and the peace process were discussed. Its entertaining, to say the least. Make sure to watch it and to share with friends.
