The two biggest cities under the control of ISIS in Iraq and Syria (respectively) are: Mosul and Raqqa.
The Syrian regime with the help of Russia and its other allies recently launched a major military attack against Palmyra. This attack will “pave the way for a campaign to push the terrorists out of Raqqa“.
Meanwhile the Iraqi government has just launched a major offensive with the help of the Kurds and Americans to free Mosul (see report below).
Two major ISIS centers increasingly under threat. Could this push ISIS to carry out more terror attacks in Europe? Perhaps. But what is more certain is that ISIS has never been under such an intense military assault in both Syria and Iraq with the involvement of both Russia and American armed forces.
